B&Q selling Christmas trees for just 1p

It's the last Tuesday before Christmas, the streets are packed with last minute shoppers and exhausted shop assistants are doing their best to deal with the never ending crowds.

Some people love leaving things to the last minute and it's quite likely that some people are even yet to buy a Christmas tree despite the fact the festive holiday is just three days away now.

That's not all, although this doesn't seem to be a nationwide deal, fellow users of the discount deals site have spotted that the festive firs are on sale for the same price in the St Neots branch and shoppers in St Neots will only have to fork out 50p for a tree.

Similary those in Glasgow won't have to break the bank because another user spotted that all trees are on sale for just £2 at the B&Q in Great Western Retail Park in Glasgow.

HotUKDeals user, whufc4ever, was the first to spot the deal, writing on the site: "My other half has just come home from work with another Christmas tree because it was 1p. Every tree no matter what size was scanning as 1p! Not sure if nationwide but could help a few people out if they are late buying a tree."

Another user pointed out that they had visited B&Q last year for a last minute Christmas tree and were equally lucky with the prices on offer, saying: "Actually, it must be store specific coz we didn't get 'round to getting one last year until Christmas eve... if kids weren't coming round the next day we wouldn't even have bothered at that point. Anyway, good ol B&Q had them, but for £1 not 1p... but hey, who can complain about that."
