Adorable Boxer Puppy’s 4-Legged Hops Are Making Everyone’s Day

There's nothing cuter than a puppy hopping around with excitement; they have some pretty silly moves! Billie is a Boxer puppy and she's no exception, although I’ve never seen a puppy hop quite like she does!

Billie’s mom Nicole posted a video at the end of August of when her fur baby was just a tiny puppy. They were out for a walk, and she let Billy off of her leash so that she could run around. She was so excited that she was free and showed us all just how much by hopping on all four legs at once!

I can't get enough of how cute she looks doing those hops! Nicole explained in a previous video that Billie was born with a cleft palette and that there may be some neurological issues as well. No matter though, it’s clear that she’s a happy puppy even though she has some medical issues.

Commenters couldn’t get enough of the cuteness either. They left more than 4 thousand comments! Most said how adorable and happy Billie looked hopping about. @Cody_Almighty said, “All boxers are derpy. This one is just a little more derped.” @Elle swooned, “The hopping stage is so epic!”

Why You Should Consider Adopting a Pet

Any time I watch these adorable videos, it makes me want to get another dog! Adopting a dog - especially one who needs extra care or was rescued from neglect or abuse - takes a lot of love, work, patience, and can also be very costly.

If you're considering bringing home a new dog to make a part of your family, consider adopting one instead of purchasing one from a breeder or pet shop...especially ones with special needs, an adult or senior dog, or one who might otherwise never find a home (did you know Pit Bulls as well as black dogs are one of the hardest dogs to find homes for?) These, unfortunately, are the dogs that nobody wants.

Is a rescue dog right for your family? There are several factors to consider, and they are the same as when choosing any pet, especially one like Billie with special needs. How long will the dog be alone during the day? What if they need scheduled medication or have incontinency issues? Do you have space for the dog to exercise and play? Do you have children and other pets? Who will be the primary caregiver?

These questions may be the same for whatever pet you choose to bring home, but the reason why it's even more important with a rescue, senior, or dog with special needs is because of all the issues they may be coming into your home with already...like medical issues, abandonment, trauma, or neglect just to name a few. Cut if you take a chance on one and are willing to put in the time and patience, you may just get the best dog you've ever had!
