Buying my dishwasher tablets from Amazon mean I often get the best deal, and they get delivered straight to my doorstep.

💸 Reasons to buy: I've found that bulk buying household essentials like dishwasher tablets while they're on offer has saved me tons of money, and more importantly, time. Not just that, but these in particular feature a Glass Protect technology which effectively protects your glasses, keeping them sparkling for longer. There's also the fact they last ages.

✋ Reasons to avoid: It's a big bag, so make sure you have somewhere to store it. When they're not on offer, they're quite expensive.

💸 Reasons to buy: Out of all the washing machine cleaners I've tried (and trust me, there's a lot) this is by far the easiest and most effective. There's no fiddling with the detergent drawer, and little hands-on time is required — instead, you just pour the cleaning powder directly into the drum and stick it on a cycle. The end result is a sparkling clean washing machine drum scented with fresh lemon. Clean washing machine, clean clothes! As for usage, I use this once a month.

This budget-friendly moisturiser outperforms many of my luxurious face creams.

💸 Reasons to buy: It's hydrating for dry skin but not greasy or heavy for oily skin, is very affordable and feels luxurious. While the packaging feels cheap and cheerful, inside is a powerhouse formula that is rich in niacinamide, pro-vitamin B5 and vitamin E that feels ultra-luxurious when applied and keeps it hydrated and smooth for hours after.

✋ Reasons to avoid: If you have very oily skin this may be too heavy for daytime use.

I've been buying these acne patches for the past year, and I've found that they're the single-most effective way to reduce inflammation and active breakouts.

💸 Reasons to buy: As someone who has regularly had to battle with acne growing up and tried countless spot stickers, I can confirm that Dots for Spots are beyond a shadow of doubt, my favourite. Practically invisible, they're small, one-sized, translucent stickers that use hydrocolloid to target and heal acne, working particularly well on whiteheads as well as cystic hormonal spots. I find they actively reduce the size of spots overnight, are comfortable on the skin, and don't budge. And compared to others I have used, they're great value for money.

Simply pour the contents of one sachet into a kettle that's just boiled but only half full, making sure its unplugged, leave for 30 minutes, rinse and make a cup a tea.

✋ Reasons to avoid: Larger kettles and those with heavy scaling will need to use two sachets.

💸 Reasons to buy: It's multi-purpose, and can be used to soothe dry, chapped skin on your face and body. It's particularly brilliant if you struggle with dryness, whether that's on your elbows and knees, you have perpetually cracked lips or suffer with sore eczema flare-ups.

Having recently got into running, these energy chews are ideal for a burst of energy on my long runs.

💸 Reasons to buy: They're easy to chew while running, don't make me feel nauseous or upset my stomach and fit easily into the pocket of my running vest. Typically I have one every 20 minutes, so with six in a pack, they tend to last a while. If you're a regular runner, I'd recommend buying the multipack on Amazon.

✋ Reasons to avoid: They're only necessary for longer runs.

Whenever I run out of my toothbrush heads, I head straight to Amazon to re-order for convenience and often a lower price tag.
