Bernese Mountain Dog Playing with Air Hose Is an Instant Classic
There's nothing that can put a smile on a dog owner's face quite like a happy pup. Whether they're wagging their tail in their sleep or zooming around the yard, a dog's joy can make the rest of the world disappear for a while. It's no wonder why cute dog videos are so popular on the Internet!
One Bernese Mountain Dog named Olive gets up to her fair share of shenanigans, and her human makes sure to get plenty of them on film. Whether she's biting at the water from the garden hose or leaping onto the couch at full speed, you won't miss it on her TikTok channel.
On August 31, though, silly gal Olive discovered just how fun air can be. That's right--air! She had so much fun biting at the wind coming from an air hose, though her fans are having just as much fun watching her playing in slow-mo.
LOL! Olive is having the time of her life, and it's so sweet that her owner is letting her play. An air hose like this is usually used for cleaning, after all, but this Bernese Mountain dog is here to remind us that we can have fun while getting things done, too.

In fact, there are so many great life lessons to learn from our dogs! Even simple habits like stretching after a nap can be beneficial for dog owners, but it's up to us to take hints from our four-legged pals!

Olive definitely isn't the only Berner who likes to play with anything and everything, especially if it's not actually a dog toy. It can be so endearing to witness these dogs' curiosity and playfulness, but it's also important to remember that there's a loving and loyal side to them, too.
Bernese Mountain Dogs: Swiss Working Dogs
Although Bernese Mountain Dogs are beloved pets today, they have a long and hearty history as a working breed in Switzerland. These dogs traditionally pulled carts, herded farm animals, and assisted on the farm, though you'll also see Berners helping out as search and rescue dogs! To celebrate the dogs' Swiss heritage, the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Great Britain hosts a bi-annual Bernese garden party, complete with a parade of Bernese Mountain Dogs pulling decorated Swiss carts!
When they're not working, these energetic dogs love to play, explore, and bond with their loved ones. They love to be a part of the family unit, just like Olive, and they'll keep you entertained with their happy vibes and playful antics!
