The Boys fans lost for words after craziest episode yet

What did you miss?

The Boys delights in shocking its audience, whether with gore or sexually explicit content —sometimes both— and the latest episode of the Prime Video series has shocked viewers more than anything that's come before.

Episode 6 certainly gave fans a lot to unpack when The Boys send Hughie to Tek Knight's manor for a party where Homelander (Antony Starr), Sister Sage (Susan Heyward), and Victoria Neuman (Claudia Doumit) hope to gain support from government players. Hughie (Jack Quaid) goes undercover as Supe Webweaver, except things quickly go downhill in unexpected ways.

Viewers were at a loss for words by the events of the episode, but before we reveal all be warned that this article contains spoilers for Episode 6.

What, how, and why?

When Hughie goes undercover at Tek Knight's home he is forced to go along with things when the Supe starts talking about an agreement they have made. Unbeknownst to Hughie, the agreement is not a normal superhero team up it's an agreement of a sexual nature.

Hughie realises this too late, when he is brought to Tek Knight's secret lair and is promptly strapped down while the Supe and Ashley (Colby Minifie) gratify themselves while assaulting him.

Hughie tries to urge his fellow Boys to come and help him, but communication has been cut off between them. It is only thanks to Starlight (Erin Moriarty), Mother's Milk (Laz Alonso) and Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) heading in because they sense something is off that he is able to be set free.

This outlandish sequence of events is added to by an interaction between Homelander and Firecracker, who reveals to him that she's taken drugs that makes her able to breastfeed and offers to do so for the milk-loving Supe. He accepts, and viewers then promptly see the act take place.

Viewers were notably lost for words by the epiosde, and many took to X to share their thoughts. One viewer simply wrote: "this episode of #TheBoys was...", and another said: "Wtf was that episode".

Another fan of the show said: "#TheBoys season 4 episode 6 was the wildest ever episode!!"

Feeling similarly, another person wrote: "I felt so f***ing bad for Hughie this episode and last episode…my guy just can’t catch a break"

What else happened on The Boys?

The episode may have been full of gruesome, explicit content, but there was also one heart-warming moment that delighted viewers.

A-Train (Jessie T Usher) has been slowly realising the error of his fellow Supes, and has been becoming increasingly helpful to The Boys in their goals. Episode 6 saw the character finally feel what it means to be a hero though, because he saved Mother's Milk by rushing him to a hospital only for a young child to see him do it.

For a moment A-Train and the boy look at each other, wonder in the child's eyes as the Supe smiles and, clearly, feels moved by finally feeling like he is being seen as a hero.

Some viewers picked up on this, with one writing: "no cause that's probably the first time a-train really felt like a hero", while another wrote: "It was in this exact moment where A-Train felt like a true hero. His redemption arc is coming."
