Caring for a Sassy Cat

Many cats have a sweet side and a sassy side. But when that sassy side hits — watch out!

Some cats always seem to be on the grumpy side. But there's actually a pretty interesting reason why that can be. Some cats just have a certain disposition. But cats also have their off days, or some might be using their behavior as a way to get attention or make their humans laugh. They're being playful! But if their behavior is getting to be truly bad, you might want to try a few things to change their cattitude.

Changing a cat's focus is one way to redirect bad behavior. Try introducing a new toy or playing a new game with them so they'll shift their attention and get out of their funk. Your home environment is important too. Your cat needs to know boundaries, but if you show them a little patience and make your space peaceful it can alleviate their stress and calm them down.

A little humor will take you far when it comes to cats. Sometimes it seems like they're trying to get under your skin. But take it in stride, your cat is just showing off their unique personality.
