Sweet Pea and Cooper aren't just housemates, they're besties. The two animals get along perfectly. You could even call them soulmates. Just take a look at how they greet each other after being apart for a while. So sweet!

Wendy Albright captured the moment that the Parrot and the Lab saw each other.

The two are always together. As many videos on Albright's page show, Sweet Pea is fascinated by his fur-brother. And the Labrador Retriever is just excited by the parrot. These two regularly pal around the house, so of course they'd miss each other terribly after being apart.

The clip from Albright shows the Cockatoo tippy tapping his way over to the Black Lab. Gangway, Sweet Pea's coming!

"She's so excited to see her puppy," Albright joked in the video's caption. Once Sweet Pea settled, all he and Cooper wanted to do was chill with each other and stare into each other's eyes. It's like we said, soulmates!

Such an unusual friendship had people totally smitten online. "Don’t know of a sweeter creature than a Black Lab," wrote one person. "How quick she is, running to see her puppy again, so cute," someone else chimed in. "Beautiful sweet babies," another person praised.

It seems that Sweet Pea really loves everyone in his family. Another video on the page shows the bird greeting his mama at the front door. What a gentleman!

The little guy was so happy to see his mom! His crest was raised, he hopped up and down, and leapt onto his mom's arm.

Signs That Your Cockatoo Likes You

Cockatoos are very expressive animals. Literally, these birds know how to talk. But even if your parrot doesn't know how to say "I love you," they still might feel that way. Cockatoos have ways of expressing themselves through their body language and actions.

One way that Cockatoos show their love is by puffing their feathers. Similar to dogs and cats, Cockatoos will also try and get your attention when they love you. They'll rub your neck and give you kisses — aka, nibbling on your ear or cheek.

Cockatoos can be very affectionate and like to cuddle. In general, Cockatoos will just want to be near you when they like your company. They'll even copy your behavior too.

As Sweet Pea shows, having a Cockatoo love you is nothing to take for granted. These pets are devoted to their loved ones. Just ask Cooper.
