Pickled Radish Provisions Company is coming to the former Chanticleer space in Eureka. Owners hope to open the restaurant in October.

In Eureka, the owners of longtime staple The Chanticleer are working to open "a fresh new gathering place."

The business's former space – located at 744 N. Main St., Eureka – will soon house Pickled Radish Provisions Company. A Facebook post said the goal is to open the new restaurant in October.

"The company is founded on a belief that community is key," the post stated. "We have taken our inspiration from the days when people helped and contributed together to make a community strong."

The restaurant will offer old favorites from The Chanticleer, as well as other locally sourced dishes, on its "continually evolving menu."

The Chanticleer closed in May 2021, with the owners attributing the shutdown to challenges created by COVID-19. In June of this year, the business hinted at "some changes happening" at the property.

According to the Facebook announcement, the building is currently being refreshed for the new concept. The business is also in the process of filling staffing positions for the restaurant.

"We are getting excited as we get closer to opening the doors," the post said.
