Sarah discovers she’s expecting a baby on Coronation Street next week, but isn’t sure whether the daddy is Adam or Damon.

Plus, there’s a blast from the past for Evelvyn, Owen decides to have it out with Stephen, and Max gets into a showdown with Gav over the affections of Bec.

After joining Dee-Dee in the Rovers, Sarah takes a sip of wine, only to baulk and react badly to the alcohol.

Worried she might be pregnant, Sarah rushes home and is soon left staring at a positive result on a pregnancy test. Composing herself, she then hands the test to Adam, who’s left shocked when Sarah makes a confession – she doesn’t know whether the father is him or Damon.

Later in the week, Sarah will be seen attending a DNA appointment, but will Adam be by her side?

Bec is keeping a secret from Max – plus Lauren returns

While heading over to Bec’s flat, Max is approached by Gav, who has big news. He’s been released from the STC and now intends to marry Bec.

Max quickly explains that Bec has moved on and is going out with him now – an admission that results in a furious Gav grabbing hold of him. Spotting Bec, Max then pleads with her to run, but might she too be keeping a secret?

Wednesday’s drama then sees the return of Lauren, who reveals that she now wants nothing more to do with her dad or his right-wing mates and has spent the previous night sleeping in the bus station. Feeling sorry for her, Max takes her to the café.

Evelyn’s daughter Cassandra arrives

Evelyn is grumbling about the amount of time that Roy is currently spending with Yasmeen. But she soon finds that she has more to worry about when she spots her daughter Cassie across the street, but chooses to ignore her.

However, following this brush-off, Evelyn is set to receive a phone call that stops her in her tracks. Cassie is now in A&E and has been admitted to surgery.

Friday’s developments, though, find Cassie having discharged herself from hospital. And her next move is to reach out to Tyrone…

Owen confronts Stephen

Stephen is determined to win Owen over and invites him for lunch at the flat. But Owen uses the occasion to level with Stephen and tell the guy that he doesn’t trust him and suspects he’s using Seagull Ltd as a way of siphoning money away from Underworld.

Little does Stephen realise, though, that Elaine is planning a surprise for him, as today is Canada Day. Hence her, Audrey, Sarah and Michael bursting in during the meeting waving flags and wishing him a happy Canada Day. Stephen is left painting on a smile, but is disconcerted to notice Elaine scowling at him.

Paul turns to religion?

Finally, Billy is seen suggesting to Paul that he could baptise him. But Paul refuses, certain that this is not for him.

But when Dee-Dee subsequently talks to Paul about her religion, she explains how much comfort it’s brought to her. So will Paul change his mind?
