Dad Sneaks Picture of Golden Retriever Onto Wall at Cracker Barrel and It’s Priceless

If you've ever been to a Cracker Barrel restaurant, you know you could spend just as much time checking out all of their old-time decor and photos hanging on the walls as you spend eating. There's so much to see and it's fun to see the black-and-white pictures from long ago of families, their pets, and their day-to-day lives. It's part of the whole Cracker Barrel experience!

Johnathan and his Golden Retriever Teddy are well known on social media for pulling pranks...usually on each other. But this time, they decided to prank Cracker Barrel by taking a photo together and sneaking it onto the wall at their local restaurant! They posted a video of the two of them on Saturday, July 13th styling the set for the photo, getting dressed up for it, and finding the perfect pose. Watch until the end to see the photo proudly hanging in Cracker Barrel - I'd say they knocked it out of the park with that photo!

I always get a kick out of Teddy and Johnathan's pranks! I've seen photos like this in Cracker Barrel and always wonder if people have snuck them in or if they're real ones. I wrote about a woman and her daughter that did the same thing with their pet chickens and since then, I've wanted to do it myself!

Commenters also liked the idea of pranking Cracker Barrel. @AngelGray707 said, "You have to check to see if it is still there!!" @Its_Zara shared, "This is how legends are made 100%! Teddy, great picture!" and I liked @DebbieFL's suggestion, "I think that pic should go in picture frames at Walmart, Michael's craft stores, and just about anywhere you can find a frame store." Even Cracker Barrel was a good sport about it and commented, "It’s like Teddy was there all along..."

More Fun Teddy & Johnathan Pranks

I mentioned that this dog dad and his Golden Retriever are known for their ongoing prank war, and they have a lot of them! Teddy has one of the coolest doghouses I've ever seen, and in one prank, Teddy's dad threatened to evict him because he's so messy and doesn't pay any bills, so Teddy 'sold' his dad's house!

In another video, Johnathan threatens to put Teddy on a diet since he eats so much junk food. The Golden was not about to give up his treats, so he pranked his dad by swapping out his cereal for dog food. His dad did not think it was a funny prank!

Johnathan usually thinks he's got the upper hand when it comes to their pranks, but Teddy always seems to come out on top. In this prank, Teddy's dad covers his dog door with plastic wrap, and then calls Teddy to come and get treats. Teddy was not amused that he couldn't get out and exacted revenge in the funniest way possible! These pranks take a lot of time to put together, film, and edit, and I'm so glad Johnathan continues to make them to entertain all of us since they always brighten up my day.
