Being your dog's favorite person is so much more than an honor. It's a responsibility to keep your dog healthy and happy for as long as they live, and it's also a major bragging right. Dogs are some of the friendliest creatures on planet Earth, and being chosen by one is one of life's greatest gifts.

Sometimes, though, a dog's favorite person can change from moment to moment. They'll always love the people who walk, feed, and play with them, but no one spoils our precious pups quite like their grandparents. It's no wonder why so many dogs get excited to go to Grandma and Grandpa's house!

TikTok viewers can't get enough of a feisty little English Bulldog puppy as she noses her way into her grandparents' house, probably because so many of their dogs are the same way. Little Fiona is already so excited to be on a car trip with her mom, Sarah, on August 20, but her excitement reaches its peak when they arrive at their destination.

Aww-just look at her go! Fiona, the English Bulldog, wastes no time starting her first play session. As soon as she romps through the door, she makes a beeline straight for her box of dog toys. It's the ultimate hello from a happy dog! But if that's how excited she is just to see her grandparents' house, I can only imagine how wild she goes for her grandparents themselves!

"Idk what it is with the doggy grandparents," commented @libblibs, "but my boy dog goes crazy for my mother, and I think it’s the cutest thing." That's adorable! While some research suggests that dogs can identify more distant relatives based on scents similar to those of family members they recognize, it's more likely that dogs remember the way grandparents love and spoil them!

Built-in Babysitters

While no one can love your dog quite as much as you do, having family members nearby who adore your pup can be a win-win situation. Family members are some of the best babysitters you can find because odds are you'll return the favor one day! However, it's important to make sure that anyone who's responsible for your dog knows precisely what they're getting into.

This English Bulldog puppy's grandparents are well-prepared for their granddog's arrival, as you can see from the three dog beds and the giant box of toys. She may not be the only pup in the home, but she has everything she needs to thrive while visiting. She arrived wearing a harness and leash, too, so she's ready to go for a walk, too! Sarah and Fiona may only be there to visit, but knowing that your closest relatives are prepared to take care of your fur baby is such a great feeling!
