Does your dog enjoy getting a pup cup whenever you're out and about or when you bring one home as a special treat? My dog has never turned one down! Pup cups are usually a small cup of whipped cream or soft serve ice cream, and they vary from restaurant to restaurant. All I know is that I've never met a dog who didn't like them!

Eggnog is an English Bulldog who is also a fan of the treat. Her mom posted a video on Sunday, September 15th of the two of them in the parking lot of a local McDonald's, and they shared a game changer that really changes everything when it comes to pup cups. Mickey D's adds a little something extra to their treats, and it definitely ups their pup cup game!

Did you know that McDonald's put chicken nuggets in their pup cups? I had no idea! I feel like I need to go get my dog one right now! Commenter @MAZE felt the same way, "I'm sorry, excuse me?! I didn't know this!" Many others commented on Eggnog's video, too. I cracked up (and agree with) @itsjennkbye, "Ok but why do I want to order this for myself…" @Daemon pointed out about the English Bulldog, "The gentle way he chose the nuggie!" @Xtina made me laugh with, "My dogs are on the McD's app! Don't add to their demands!"

DIY Pup Cup and Other Homemade Treats

It's not the same! Well, it's not the same for us humans, but I'm guessing that dogs really don't care. So, if you'd like to treat your pup at home to a pup cup or other homemade treat, we've got some recipes to share.

Pup cups don't have to only be made with whipped cream, so get creative! You can also start with a base of pureed pumpkin, dog-friendly ice cream, or plain Greek yogurt. Add additional flavors like peanut butter, carrots, berries, or whatever else your pooch likes. Put it into a small container and serve it topped with a dog biscuit. If you have time, you can freeze it so that it'll take your dog even longer to eat.
