American Airlines announced Thursday, July 13, 2023, a new nonstop service from Wilmington International Airport to Miami.

American Airlines announced Thursday it will launch a nonstop service between Wilmington International Airport and Miami International Airport, a major hub for American and a gateway to Latin America and the Caribbean.

According to a news release from Wilmington International Airport, nonstop flights from Wilmington to Miami will operate on Saturdays, beginning Nov. 11.

With the addition of Miami, American Airlines now serves Wilmington International Airport with eight nonstop destinations, including Philadelphia, New York-LaGuardia, Boston, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Charlotte, and Dallas-Fort Worth.

Flights will depart Wilmington at 6:20 a.m. and arrive in Miami at 7:50 a.m. On the return, flightsdepart Miami at 7:30 p.m. and arrive at Wilmington at 9 p.m. Flights go on sale Sunday onAmerican Airlines’ website at www.aa.com.
