A face from Ken’s past returns
Stephanie Beacham will make her much anticipated return when drama teacher Nigel introduces an actress friend to his troupe at the community centre.
Ken is surprised to realise that Nigel’s mate is none other than Martha. But is the Street's longet-standing Lothario set to find himself torn between her and Wendy?
As long-time fans will no doubt recall, Martha sailed out of Ken's life over a decade ago when she headed off in her canal barge after he procrastinated for too long over whether or not to leave then-wife Deirdre. But things are looking very different for Ken in the present day...
Harvey makes an offer
At the prison, Sam will be seen interrogating Harvey, who concedes that his mission had been to murder Leanne, not to kill Natasha.
When Harvey then reveals that his own mum died when he was 14, Sam posits that this tragedy must have led to him falling off the rails. Rather than listening to more awkward questions, a rattled Harvey storms off.
Leanne is duped by Debbie
Debbie shows Lynne, a potential buyer around the Bistro. But Leanne is later left surprised when Debbie reveals that she’s accepted her and Nick’s original offer instead.
Events then take an unforeseen turn when Lynne’s builder reveals that she pulled out because the place is riddled with dry rot. An annoyed Leanne then makes a lunge for Debbie in the Rovers…
Griff makes more trouble
Griff announces to Ollie, David and Spider that Maria is planning to turn the community centre into a place for refugees.
And, later that same day, Maria is left furious when she spies Griff and Spider handing out leaflets claiming that refugees will be taking over the community centre at the expense of local people.
Stu is in a panic
Stu is in a flap about getting Eliza to school on time, but is put out to discover that Yasmeen has already made the youngster breakfast while Alya has plaited her hair for her.
Stu’s next move is to then pin a timetable of Eliza’s hobbies to the kitchen cupboard door and order that she mustn’t miss out on anything as she’s had enough upheaval in her life. But Yasmeen can’t help but be concerned by the length of the list.
