As Kelly calls at a house and introduces herself as Rick Neelan’s daughter to a guy called Ross, she hands over an envelope of cash. But after she leaves, Ross puts in a call to a mate and tells him about Kelly’s visit. So will there be repercussions from Kelly’s altruistic actions?
Maria feels terrorised
Maria’s fears are realised when she’s approached by a creepy guy who tells her how much he enjoyed her online video. And worse is to come when Maria gets a notification telling her that her phone is being tracked. Luckily, she finds the tracking device and destroys it. But Maria can’t shake the feeling that she’s being followed.
Friday’s drama then finds Craig telling Maria that Jimmy has been found guilty of posting malicious messages. But that doesn’t stop Jimmy from later approaching Maria and telling her that she’ll live to regret blabbing to the police.
Phill’s big gesture
Post-wedding, there’s a lot for those involved to get their heads around. For Phill, this means trying to ensure that Fiz knows exactly how he feels about her.
Hence him turning up outside Underworld with a boombox blaring and holding up cards containing the words of Fiz’s favourite love songs. But unfortunately – and much to the amusement of the factory girls – he gets the cards muddled up.
Stephen fees unwelcome
Stephen is making his presence felt, advising Sarah that the factory ought to be buying its silk from him. But Carla feels that working with family never ends well.
And on the domestic front, there are further tensions when Gail hosts a family lunch to welcome Stephen home, only for the meal to turn into a slanging match when David and Sarah start rowing over Audrey’s finances.
Disgusted with the pair of them, Audrey ends up walking out, while Stephen is left feeling embarrassed.
Sean’s son Dylan returns
Sean is buoyed up by the thought of his son Dylan coming to stay and has high hopes of him and Frank hitting it off.
But things go awry when Dylan arrives at the café and mistakes George for Sean’s boyfriend. And when Frank later refuses an invite to dinner, claiming he doesn’t want to intrude on Dylan’s first night, Sean is left disappointed.
Ed’s big shock!
Ed is electrocuted while working on a radiator at Debbie’s hotel and is flung backwards and knocked unconscious. As an ambulance is called, a panicked Debbie realises that she has no idea when an inspection was last carried out, as Ray was forever cutting corners.
And in the aftermath of the shocking events, Aggie will be seen railing at Debbie for endangering Ed’s life and telling her she’ll be hearing from their solicitor.
Abi is left hurt
While at Wendy’s, Abi clocks her typing away on the laptop and grows suspicious. And when Abi later surreptitiously opens the computer, she’s furious about the notes that Wendy has made about her.
Hurt by what’s been recorded on screen, Abi tells Wendy that she really thought she’d been making solid progress with Alfie.
