Married at First Sight UK season 9 is ready to make its way back down the aisle, with a new batch of hopeful singletons ready to take a chance on love with a complete stranger.
For all those who have missed the drama of this long-running newlywed series, Married at First Sight UK lets science take the reigns to use hard data to romantically pair two people who are looking for love. However, as its title suggests, each new couple will only meet for the first time on their wedding day, with the pair committing to a joint life together.
From there, the E4 show follows each couple’s ups and downs (emphasis on the downs) to see how many scientifically-matched couples make their pairings a forever thing and how many stumble right out of the gate.
With its last outing coming to a close with a dramatic two-part reunion special, the series is wasting no time getting back on the horse with Married at First Sight UK season 9.

When will Married at First Sight UK season 9 air on TV?
Married at First Sight UK season 9 is currently without a release date. That said, season 8 debuted on E4 in September 2023 with season 7 airing in August 2022, so Married at First Sight UK season 9 could be ready to drop any time now.
We’re guessing it’ll be available on E4 and Channel 4’s free streaming service at some point in September, but we’ll confirm this as soon as we know for sure.
Who stars in the Married at First Sight UK season 9 cast?
A full list of those taking part in Married at First Sight UK season 9 has yet to be revealed. However, the show’s official Instagram account has begun teasing some interesting details.
In August, the Married at First Sight UK Instagram page posted a short clip featuring a new couple meeting for the first time in a very risky way.
The newly revealed pair are 30-year-old dog walker Kristina and 28-year-old mechanic Kieran. The clip shows their first meeting after Kristina walks down the aisle — but Kieran’s got a secret: he's actually wearing false teeth.
Will his joke be a hit with his soon-to-be new wife or will it help their marriage get off to a dodgy start? Watch it by hitting play on the video below. So far, Kristina and Kieran are the only two names confirmed for Married at First Sight UK season 9 but more names are sure to be unveiled soon.
Who are the Married at First Sight UK season 9 experts?
While nothing has been officially confirmed by Channel 4, the show’s previous panel of experts will likely return to share their scientifically-led romance knowledge to Married at First Sight UK season 9.
This will include dating coach, psychologist and expert on Married at First Sight Australia, Mel Schilling, professional match-maker Paul C. Brunson and the UK’s leading sex and intimacy expert — and candid advice disher-outer — Charlene Douglas.
Perhaps some new experts will join the team in season 9 but at this stage, only time will tell.
