Funny Maine Coon Cat Turns ALDI Bag Into His Own Personal Playground

Is there any place more magical than Aldi? Like the "aisle of shame" — have you ever been there? That's the special aisle where you can find basically anything, although we think the "cat toy" that one pet owner brought home for their Maine Coon Cat might have been from a different part of the store.

Meatball is clearly a fan of Aldi. And as a video on the internet proves... is also a fan of reusable bags.

We're sure the cat has a whole stash of traditional cat toys somewhere, but of course the Maine Coon Cat only wanted to play with one thing — his owner's reusable Aldi shopping bag. Isn't that so like a cat? The cat owner found the Maine Coon hidden inside the tote, and when they tried opening the bag, Meatball snatched the tote shut. Welp, we guess that settles that. Meatball wasn't done having some playtime.

Weird Things That Cats Love

It's no secret that cats are a little strange. Not in a bad way! But they definitely have particular ways of having fun.

Like have you ever seen a cat near a faucet? They love them so much. In fact cats might even swat at running water or might try drinking from the faucet over their water bowls. Some people even try and get their cats fancy water fountains to drink from and their cat will still choose a faucet. Or they might go after their human's water glass if left unattended.

Cats also have a really strange way of keeping themselves occupied. Namely, they love knocking things off tables and watching them break. This is not a cat owner's favorite hobby, mind you. But it is something that cats do frequently, much to their owner's chagrin.

So many cats choose boxes over the toys their owners buy them. It's a known thing. Cats love boxes because it makes them feel enclosed and secure. They like feeling protected on all sides and it's fun for them to hide in the box and spring out. It's basically a way for them to play hide-n-seek.

If that wasn't strange enough, every pet owner has watched their cat go in on an electrical cord. They are fascinated by them! But don't let them get too close or your cat might try and bite the cord.

So there you have it, cats are truly the strangest pets. But even with their many quirks we think we can all agree we wouldn't have them any other way.
