Golden Retriever-Labrador Mix Does ‘Show-And-Tell’ While Mom Takes a Bath and It's Impossible to Resist
Dogs really are like our kids sometimes. Yes, they need to be cared for like a child, but there are other instances when they really remind us of little ones. Like one pup named Lucy who wanted to do a showcase for her mama. The only thing is, her mom was sort of trying to take a relaxing tub.
Call it show-and-tell time because Lucy had a lot of stuff to go over as her mom took a bath.
A video the woman shared online shows the Golden Retriever-Labrador mix bring several objects over to her mom while she was trying to have some "me time."

First there was a really good stick. Then there was a bag of Teddy Grahams. The dog followed the snack up with a plastic hanger and then several more "treasures" she found around the house. We're particularly fond of the viking hat she found.
The hilarious thing was that Lucy would show her mom a treat and then walk away with it. She never handed anything over and the list of objects she brought seemed to go on forever. Who needs a book when your dog can keep you plenty entertained?
The comments section was cracking up over Lucy's little performance. "She’s like….. no no you can’t have it. I’m just showing you things I’m getting into while you can’t stop me," joked one commenter. "She is just the happiest show-and-teller," another person added. "The randomness of the gifts cracks me up. A can of tuna? And a stick in the house?" someone else added. "I am crying over here, the hanger and the Viking hat, love herrrr," wrote one person.

Hilariously, this is part seven in a series the dog mom has made documenting Lucy's show-and-tell time. The dog paying her a visit in the tub is sort of a regular thing, apparently.
In another video on the dog's page, it shows Lucy bringing even more "gifts" to her mother. Like a blanket and paper plate. Lucy was so pumped that she almost got into the tub with her mama. She was so darn excited, just look at her feet's little tippy taps.
"She doesn't know what to do with all her excitement,"one commenter wrote.
Dogs really are the sweetest. When they love you, you definitely know. We'd like to think that Lucy was being generous with all the cool stuff she's found. That's the sign that a dog really loves her human.
