Healthcare professional to speak Aug. 15 to PK Hope is Alive Parkinson's Support Group

On Tuesday, Tamara Fye, an experienced physical therapist, licensed nursing home administrator and certified dementia practitioner, will be the speaker at the PK Hope is Alive Parkinson's Support Group meeting.

Fye has 36 years of experience providing guidance and support to the elderly during challenging times, according to a news release on the meeting. At Aging Family Partners, she ensures that families receive knowledgeable assistance navigating the complexities associated with aging, illness, and the senior care system. People attending the meeting are asked to come with their questions and concerns.

The PK Parkinson’s Hope Is Alive Support Group meets the third Tuesday of the month at Central Baptist Church of Oak Ridge, 130 Providence Road, across from Oak Ridge High School. The group meets in the fellowship hall. People should park behind the church. A light lunch will be provided.

PK Hope Is Alive Support Group offers support, fellowship and information for persons with Parkinson’s and their caregivers.
