Helen Flanagan confessed she and her secret boyfriend had made an agreement about how far she would go with other men on Celebs Go Dating.

The former Coronation Street star brought her new boyfriend Robbie to meet the team on the E4 show after confessing she was already dating. The soap star and mother-of-three split from split from long-term partner, footballer Scott Sinclair in 2022.

But after making the revelation that she was actually already seeing someone new while taking part in the dating series, Flanagan brought Robbie to the agency and revealed they had put boundaries in place before she started going on other dates for the show.

Flanagan appeared on the latest episode of Celebs Go Dating with new boyfriend Robbie. She was put on the spot as she was asked about going on dates with other men, filmed for the show, and kissing them on camera.

Robbie said: "I think the important thing for me was that we had the conversation before and we set those boundaries... I just said she's not allowed to w*** anyone off."

In an awkward grilling by the relationship experts Flanagan said she was in love with Robbie and that they shared both physical intimacy with satisfaction, and friendship. But they were tasked to list the things the both disliked about each other and to see whether they were able to resolve conflict together.

Flanagan, 34, told Robbie that one of her pet peeves was that she would like to just go to bed and watch TV together, instead of always getting physical.

She said: "We can never watch anything. Like when we're in bed, we can never watch like anything. We can never watch Netflix together or finish a film because I'm glad that you're always interested in me. But sometimes I wanna watch something, like sometimes I wanna watch a box set."

And the Corrie star was irritated when Robbie told her that he didn't like her cooking. But she later declared: "I think he just said that because he couldn't find anything wrong with me. He thinks I'm perfect. I am perfect."

Viewers were skeptical about Flanagan's commitment to the relationship when she had kissed other men on dates for the show.

One wrote on social media platform X: "How can you of told someone you love them but then go on dates with other guys and kiss them. This girl needs her head checking #celebsgodating." Another said: "Helen told Robbie that she loves him, but she was literally snogging another guy two weeks ago. #CelebsGoDating."

Other viewers felt that the pair were being subjected to some difficult tasks early on in their relationship.

Singer Jamelia was sent on a date with teaching assistant Ozzy. The singer and mum-of-four was reluctant at first, and was put off by his job asking: "Is he looking for a mother figure?"

Viewers thought she was being too picky. One tweeted: "Just watching Jamelia, who does she think she is judging people like she does, its disgraceful and the agency need to get this over to her. If she behaves like a Diva people will treat her that way." Another said: "Who does Jamelia think she is? #celebsgodating TA’s work really hard!"

But others thought the agency was pairing her with the wrong men. One wrote: "Jamelia has said what her type was physically and it’s obvious she wants someone successful in their field. Every date she’s been on I’ve known straight away they aren’t her type #CelebsGoDating."

However, Jamelia enjoyed her date with Ozzy and said afterwards: "Well done agents. Finally!"
