Jimmy Fallon Cooks Up Donald Trump’s Very Own Version Of A ‘Sacred’ Marriage Vow
Jimmy Fallon’s not shocked Donald Trump isn’t popular with LGBTQ voters.
“The Tonight Show” host on Wednesday referenced a new poll that found Vice President Kamala Harris leading the Republican nominee by over 70% among LGBTQ people who plan to vote.
“Makes sense because Trump thinks marriage is a sacred vow between a man and a woman and another woman and then another woman,” Fallon quipped.
He segued into a jab at Trump’s current and third wife, former first lady Melania Trump.
“Speaking of Trump, he said that after the events over the weekend, Harris and Biden both called him and were very nice. Then Melania was like, ‘Oh, that reminds me, I should call.’”
A gunman was apprehended at the former president’s Florida golf course on Sunday while he was golfing. Authorities say it was an apparent assassination attempt. Harris and President Joe Biden both phoned Trump afterward to check on him.
