Katie Price’s sun-soaked holidays despite bankruptcy

As Katie Price soaks up the sun in Cyprus, we take a look at her holidays this year despite her money woes.

The mum-of-five, 46, was declared bankrupt over an unpaid £750,000 tax bill in March but she still has managed to get away for several breaks. At the moment, the former glamour model is on holiday in Cyprus with her boyfriend JJ Slater and her son Harvey.

Her most headline-grabbing holiday this year to Turkey landed her in hot water on her return to the UK. Price was arrested at Heathrow airport for failing to attend her bankruptcy hearing while she was getting plastic surgery in Turkey.

Cyprus

Price has jetted off to Cyprus with her love and Married At First Sight groom JJ Slater as well as her eldest child Harvey. The trio had headed to Greece over the weekend after the TV personality had showed off her hair transformation online. Since their arrival, they have been spending time catching the rays by the poolside and spending quality time together.

In the mood, Price had shared on Instagram that she was feeling the "holiday vibes" while documenting one of her looks from their break. Her outfit was totally casual as she styled a tie dye hoodie which had the word "love" on it in eye-catching pink and matching shorts. Harvey also posted an update as he shared a sweet photograph of him kissing his mum on the cheek on his own Instagram.

From the poolside, Price also told her fans she would be available on her OnlyFans page as she had a free afternoon on the holiday.

Isle of Wight

Over the summer, the former glamour model headed to the Isle of Wight and it was a family affair with three generations of the Price women enjoying the break. The I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here star posed for pictures with her daughter Princess and her mum Amy. Price's man JJ Slater, whom she has been dating for around seven months at the time, also joined them.

The former glamour model shared glimpses of her holiday on social media, saying: "Sunshine, family & good food… What a beautiful day." They have been pictured enjoying the sunshine and dinner. Price and JJ Slater showed off their adventurous side when they went kayaking in an inflatable boat.

Turkey

Earlier in August, Price jetted off to Istanbul for her sixth facelift which has been reported to be worth £10,000. She was joined on the Turkey holiday by her boyfriend Slater as well as her son Harvey, 22. While abroad, Price missed a court hearing sparking a warrant for her arrest. The TV star addressed the flurry of headlines as she said she was filming a documentary.

Recovering from surgery, Price was seen sunbathing at the poolside at five-star Sheraton Istanbul Atakoy Hotel. A holidaymaker shared their fury on TripAdvisor writing: "We're here at the moment and couldn't fault this wonderful hotel until an infamous British celebrity and her entourage arrived and our opinion changed dramatically."

On her return from Turkey, Price was arrested at Heathrow airport. Following her arrest, the former glamour model appeared at the Royal Courts of Justice in London. Deputy Insolvency and Companies Court Judge Daniel Schaffer told Price that she would have no holidays abroad ahead of her hearing on 27 August at 10.30am where she will answer more questions on her finances. He said: "You have to attend that date, no ifs or buts, no going abroad, no holidays."

Bulgaria

Before being declared bankrupt, Price enjoyed her first romantic holiday with Slater in February. They went skiing in Bulgaria. They were seen hitting the snow-covered slopes and they relaxed at a rustic lodge. She wrote on Instagram of the trip: "Absolutely loved skiing spending time with my close ones."

While it looked glamorous, Price admitted she cried while away on the trip. She told the Anything Goes podcast that the last time she cried she was "skiing - because I f***ing can't ski, and I tell you what, argh, I looked like a could ski, I had all the gear and no idea".

She said: "Trying to get up with my bum filler and t**s, as well as my body, when I'd fall over, trying to get my feet out of the skis and then lifting myself back up, I was literally like "I f***ing hate this, I hate skiing"."

She added: "And where I broke my feet, they're full of screws - no stability in them. So annoying, I'm not as flexible as I used to be." Back in 2020, the reality TV star broke bones in both of her feet when she fell from a wall in Turkey.
