Wendy’s Reveals New Limited-Edition Frosty For Summer

You don't even need to have visited Wendy's to know what it's most famous for, it's signature milkshake-come-ice-cream dessert: The Frosty. A staple menu item for the US-derived burger joint, there's nothing quite as satisfying as slurping up one of these. Which is why we were *extra* excited upon discovering the reveal of a brand-new, limited-edition flavour. Say hello to the Strawberry Frosty Swirl.

Available for a limited period of time, the new flavour features everything we know and love about the iconic dessert, but this time featuring a drizzle of delicious strawberry syrup for a light and fruity summer pud. Yum, or what?

Described as, "cool, creamy and refreshing — thick enough to use a spoon, smooth enough to use a straw," we can't wait to get our hands on one of these treats.

Fancy a little history lesson? The Frosty has actually been on Wendy's menu since the fast food chain first opened in 1969. Yep! Falling somewhere between a milkshake and ice cream, the hybrid dessert has been around for over a whopping 50 years, making it somewhat of a rite of passage for Wendy's lovers. Not to mention, if you're new to the fast food chain, it's an absolute must-try (especially with a side of fries — if you know, you know).

The Strawberry Frosty Swirl will be available at Wendy’s eight company-operated restaurant locations across the UK – Camden, Reading, Stratford, Oxford, Croydon, Romford, Brighton, and Ilford – and also available via delivery through providers such as UberEats, Just Eat and Deliveroo across London locations in Central, North, North West, East, South West and also in Birmingham and Manchester.
