Man Who Proposed to His New Fiance's Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Is All Green Flags
While having the perfect proposal is by no means an indicator of a perfect married life, it's completely understandable why some people dream about a fairytale moment. Everyone deserves to feel special and seen! One new fiance took his proposal skills to the next level, however, by making sure that his fiance's pup was included in the monumental occasion. He proposed to her, too!
The August 24 TikTok video is as sweet as can be, though it's impossible to tell who's happiest: Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Daisy, her newly engaged mom, or the man who's going to be her dad! One thing is for sure, though--this pup and her mom have found the right person to complete their family. He knows that his girls will always be a 'package deal!'
Aww! Daisy--the sweet Cavalier King Charles Spaniel--got so excited when she saw her plushie diamond ring, and I don't blame her one bit. I'm sure her mom had the same reaction when her boyfriend became her fiance. I know that's the reaction I had when I was proposed to!

One commenter named Aileen loved when the dog dad put the ring on Daisy's paw, but it looks like the curious pup didn't love that part quite as much. She prefers to hold it in her mouth! Just like @ok_kola said, she's "testing it to see if it's cubic zirconia or not!" No matter what it's made of--even if it's a dog toy--Daisy is one grateful girl to get her own special proposal.
Dog moms who are dating know just how much their pup's opinion of their partner matters. After all, the person you end up marrying will end up as your dog's new parent, too! They need to be on the same page about your dog's role in your life, and they also need to make an effort to show your dog just how special they are. It could be helping with daily dog walks, letting them sleep in the bed, or including them in special milestones just like this.

More and more dog owners are opting to include their furry friends in their wedding, whether it's posing together for family photos or having them act as ring bearers. There's no limit to what you can do! There are plenty of dog-friendly wedding venues across the country, too, so all that's left is to find someone to be in charge of your pup during the wedding. After all--safety first!
Whether you name your signature drinks after your rescue dogs or let your social Golden Retriever make a cameo on the dance floor, your pups can make your wedding day extra special. But take a note from this thoughtful man: don't wait until your wedding to include your dogs in life events like proposals!
