Did My Mum, Your Dad series 2 find any lasting romances? (ITV) (ITV)

My Mum, Your Dad bid farewell to its second season of singles looking for love last week, with some success stories that warmed viewers' hearts.

The ITV show had three potential matches left by the end of its run, having seen others leave earlier in the series when they failed to find a connection.

Fans of the dating show hosted by Davina McCall love the more mature approach to finding love and the bond the singles have with their children who are hoping to help them meet their perfect match. But which of the couples chose to stay together - and who has stood the test of time?

Vicky and David decided to try to make it work. (ITV) (ITV)

From their very first date, Vicky and David seemed to hit it off - although Vicky's daughter Angharad had some concerns over whether David was the right man for her mum.

She told him: "On some days we see you being really involved and seeming like you really like my mother. And then on some days it seems like it's not there anymore. It's just a lot of hot and cold. Do you like my mother?"

David awkwardly replied: "I'm feeling like a teenager tingling, and it's like this is a nice feeling. I'm thinking I have hold of a woman who's attractive and intellectual and I'm tingling and I like that feeling. I want to get to know those other parts 'cause there's something there."

At the end of the series finale, a two months on update told viewers that Vicky and David were still together.

David's daughter Tiana said: "My dad opens up way more now with me and in relationships. I'm really proud of him."

Angharad added: "My mum has done so well. She's overcome some challenges with David in the retreat and built a strong connection that they are continuing to grow in the outside world."

A recent Instagram post from the show's account, the couple had their arms around each other as David said: "We're planning to see each other. We've discussed how we're going to fit each other into each other's lives. We're going to meet up, next week, Saturday."

Danny and Jenny are still going strong. (ITV) (ITV)

One of the show's strongest matches was Jenny and Danny, who spoke about their growing feelings for each other in the last episode and unsurprisingly decided to make a go of things.

Two months on the families were shown enjoying a barbecue together as Danny's son Ellis said: "It is lovely and we are so lucky that it has worked out for you two. So when you get married, you have to thank us!" Danny told Jenny: "I'd never, ever thought I'd be living this life right now with you. All of you guys."

Ellis added: "My dad has definitely found his person as I'm not getting pestered as much anymore. I'm so happy for him."

Jenny's son Malachi said: "My mum came into their journey with no expectations. The retreat is proof that good things can happen to good people."

It's good news for fans of the couple as an Instagram post from the show this week confirmed that they are still going strong. Sharing a photo of Danny and Jenny hugging and smiling in front of a marina, they wrote: "A little update: it’s been five months since the retreat and these two are still together."

Paul and Steph agreed to stay friends. (ITV) (ITV)

The final couple who made it to the end of the series were Steph and Paul, although they called time on any potential romance while the cameras were still rolling.

Paul and Steph decided on their final date to just be friends, toasting to their friendship and leaving things on good terms.

My Mum, Your Dad seasons one and two are streaming now on ITVX.
