Big 12 releases game times for week 5 matchups, including Texas vs. Kansas

The Big 12 X account released the game times for week 5 of the season, with Texas facing off with Kansas at 2:30 p.m.

Last year, the Longhorns traveled to Lawrence and defeated the Jayhawks in comfortable fashion 55-14. Overall, they have a record of 17-4 against Kansas, with UT's last loss coming in 2021 in a dramatic 57-56 overtime barnburner. However, that was the only home loss Texas has suffered at home in the history of their rivalry.

Kansas is currently 3-0, having last won 31-24 vs. Nevada. This week, they're facing BYU in the opening of Big 12 play.

Texas, also 3-0, will be traveling to Waco to faceoff with Baylor. They're coming off a somewhat lackluster 31-10 win to Wyoming that saw a close game until Texas blew the doors open in the fourth quarter. Baylor on the other hand, has started off the year 1-2 and are coming off of a 30-7 win vs. LIU.
