The Boys star joins M3GAN sex robot spin-off
The Boys star Claudia Doumit has landed a role in the upcoming M3GAN spin-off film.
It was recently announced that a "thrilling and seductive" erotic thriller titled SOULM8TE is in the works, centring around a man and his sex robot.
According to Deadline, Doumit has now been cast in the spin-off, joining previously announced cast members Lily Sullivan and David Rysdahl. However, details about her role are being kept under wraps for the time being.

SOULM8TE will follow a man (Rysdahl) who acquires an android (Sullivan) to help him cope with the recent loss of his wife.
The official logline continues: "In an attempt to create a truly sentient partner, the man inadvertently turns a harmless lovebot into a deadly soulmate."
The film, which is expected to arrive in cinemas in January 2026, will be directed by You Are Not My Mother's Kate Dolan from a story by James Wan, Rafael Jordan, and Ingrid Bisu.
"Fundamentally, I view this film as an exploration of relationships and loneliness. Despite technological advances, there are enduring human truths we cannot escape, and I am looking forward to delving into those depths," Dolan said of the film upon its announcement in June.

Wan added: "SOULM8TE is a thrilling and seductive addition to the M3GAN universe. We're excited to partner with Kate to bring this story to life with her unique cinematic vision and point of view."
Meanwhile, a M3GAN sequel titled M3GAN 2.0 is also in the works, with a release date set for June 27, 2025.
The original film follows robotics engineer Gemma (Allison Williams), who builds a life-like AI doll for her niece Cady (Violet McGraw) after becoming her legal guardian. However, the doll soon develops a mind of its own and becomes hostile to anyone who comes between it and Cady.
Williams and McGraw will both return for the sequel.
SOULM8TE is expected to arrive in cinemas on January 2, 2026.
