Corrections and clarifications
• The musician Kanye West did not buy the social media platform Parler as we said in a feature about its rival network X, formerly Twitter (So much hatred…, 5 September, G2, p6). A purchase had been announced in October 2022, but the sale was cancelled later that year. Also, in April this year it was Brazil’s supreme court, not Brazil’s president, that sought suspensions of fewer than 100 X accounts for hate speech and fake news.
