Emmerdale's Nicky to reappear after Caleb's shock attack

Emmerdale's Nicky Miligan makes an emotional return to our screens next week in the fallout from his father Caleb being attacked.
Nicky has been keeping a low profile since calling off his wedding to Gabby Thomas and facing Caleb's fury in the aftermath.
Thursday's hour-long episode (June 15) sees Caleb's scheming come back to haunt him when one of his enemies follows him through the woods and pushes him from a ravine.
Caleb survives the fall, but his ultimate fate remains uncertain as he fights for his life in hospital next week.

Cain, Chas and Charity are among the villagers who pay visits to Caleb while he's in a coma.
Nicky is next to arrive and he's clearly emotional to see his father in such a bad state.
Will they ever get a chance to resolve their differences, after Caleb turned against Nicky for ruining his plans?

Lewis Cope, who plays Nicky, recently called for his character to have a longer-term future in the village following the scam plot.
Speaking before Gabby's recent on-screen heartbreak aired, Lewis told Inside Soap: "I don't know where Nicky goes from here when the secret inevitably comes out, although I'd like for him to stick around in the village.
"Despite Nicky's faults, no one's hit me in public yet.
"Nicky's not a bad person at all. I think he cares a lot about Gabby. I think if she knew the truth, he could be her gay best friend!"
