Freddie Flintoff agrees to fast for Ramadan in gesture to Muslim refugee mentee

Freddie Flintoff and his squad of young cricketers agreed to fast for a day as a gesture to their Muslim teammate who was taking part in Ramadan.

During the latest episode of Flintoff’s Field Of Dreams documentary, Afghan refugee Adnan opened up about how difficult it is seeing his friends eat while he is unable to.

He admitted he was “thinking about food” when he joined the team for their breakfast.

“It’s hard when I sit here and all of you guys are eating,” Adnan added.

Flintoff then proposed that the team join him in fasting for a day, and they all obliged.
