Hollyoaks' Juliet Nightingale to hide a devastating secret in cancer story

There's more heartbreak ahead in Hollyoaks for Juliet Nightingale, who has been keeping a devastating secret about her cancer treatment from her family.
In scenes airing next week, Donna-Marie begins to spiral and decides she needs to do something nice for Juliet, who left for the hospital in Birmingham with Peri last week following a family row.
Donna-Marie approaches James for some help, but he's preoccupied with keeping his new client happy and, in doing so, keeping himself out of jail.

With his patience already wearing thin, James snaps at Donna-Marie and reminds her of all the mistakes she's made as a parent over the years.
Feeling worse than ever about herself, a desperate Donna-Marie heads down a sadly familiar road and calls her former drug-dealer, Harrold.
However, she doesn't know that Juliet is returning home early to surprise her... and she walks through the door at the worst possible moment.
In a flash of emotional rage, Juliet explodes and tells her mum that she's a screw-up.

Back at the Lomaxes, Leela reminds a distressed Juliet that her mother is vulnerable and needs empathy and support.
Taking Leela's suggestion, Juliet begs her mother not to relapse and tells her how much she loves her.
Peri is overwhelmed by the emotions and snaps at Juliet. She tells her that they can't keep lying to their families and that they need to tell the truth: Juliet didn't have the stem cell transplant needed to save her life…
Hollyoaks streams first on All 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4.
