• We said that one of the backers of Edinburgh University’s new Hub for Metabolic Psychiatry was “the Baszucki Foundation, a Canadian charity”; in fact that philanthropic organisation, correctly titled Baszucki Group, is based in California (“Diet link to root cause of bipolar depression”, 22 September, p17).
• Last week’s paper mistakenly said that “on Thursday” (26 September), Manchester United would travel to the Netherlands to play FC Twente for their opening match of the Europa League. The football match was in fact on Wednesday and it was played at home at Old Trafford (“Ten Hag rejects Redknapp guesswork”, Sport, p3, later editions).
• Sir Eduardo Paolozzi’s bronze sculpture of Oscar Wilde’s head, which is to be installed at Dovehouse Green, Chelsea, stands about 2 metres high, not 2ft high (“‘It looks absolutely hideous’: grandson of Oscar Wilde condemns new sculpture“, 22 September, p3).
• The town of Settle is in North Yorkshire, not Lancashire as we said when referring to the location of the Courtyard Dairy shop (“That’s the whey to do it: artisans turn to ancient recipes for cheese revival“, 15 September, p14).
