The two outsiders in Group C, however, head into this Friday night clash in different moods.

Guinea began their latest AFCON campaign by drawing with giants in Cameroon despite going down to 10 men, while Gambia were well-beaten by holders Senegal.

They last met at the last-16 stage in the 2021 edition of this tournament, with The Gambia coming out on top in an upset.
