This popular Broadway musical is returning to Peoria. Here's what to know

The American Theatre Guild announced "Wicked" will return to Peoria during the 2024-2025 Ameren Illinois Broadway in Peoria season. The popular Broadway musical last came to the Peoria Civic Center in October 2016.

The show follows the lives of Elphaba − the Wicked Witch of the West − and Glinda the Good Witch before Dorothy came to the land of Oz. In 2004, "Wicked" won the Best Musical Show Album category for the 47th Annual GRAMMY Awards.

Dates for the upcoming show will be announced at a later date. Tickets are currently on sale for the 2023-2024 season.
