Precious Pit Bull Loves Hide-and-Seek 'But She's Not Very Good at It'

There are a million ways to make a dog's tail wag. Sometimes, all it takes is talking in a baby voice, but other dogs can be much more stoic. Tail wagging isn't the only way they show their happiness either, but it certainly is one of the sweetest. Just ask Rhubarb's parents!

This velvety Pit Bull princess is a self-proclaimed 'stage 5 clinger' and a hide-and-seek pro. With her parents' attention and all the treats she could want, her tail is always wagging! She's a playful pup with energy to spare, but it turns out that she's 'not very good' at her favorite game: hide and seek. But just wait until you see the reason why!

Aww! It's so sweet that her happy tail keeps wagging throughout their hide and seek game, even if it was her ultimate downfall. It's pretty hard to hide such a wiggly bottom, but we'll give her plenty of credit for trying. And bonus points for being so cute!

"It's like a kid giggling from their hiding spot," noticed @avigailmaymon. You're so right! Rhubarb couldn't help but give away her hiding spot, even though she thought she was being so sneaky. The good news is that no one will ever tell her otherwise! As long as she enjoys the game, this sweet Pit Bull's owners will keep playing.

I love what one commenter said about ramping up the enthusiasm even more: "You have to say ‘Where is she?’ ‘Where did she go?’ Etc etc. The tail wag gets bigger and bigger. And then, when you find her, make a big deal of it." I like the way you think! Enthusiasm is always a good thing, and it almost always leads you to a happy dog.

Games to Play With Your Dog

Rhubarb may be the queen of hide and seek, but there are plenty of games that you can play to keep your dog stimulated and engaged. Plenty of pups like to keep it simple with tennis balls and rounds of fetch, but many other dogs love squeaky toys, too.

As you may discover while your furry friend is being naughty, a lot of pups love to be chased. You can try running with your dog while playing with a toy to get this out of their system, and you may avoid the trouble-making later on.

Oddly enough, not all dogs are partial to dog toys! Many would prefer to go for a long walk around the neighborhood or even for a hike. Not only are they getting exercise on these walks, but they're also stimulating their brain and olfactory systems by taking in smells as they go.

There's no wrong way to keep your dog entertained, but don't be surprised if your pup prefers some activities over others. Rhubarb is the perfect example--she's a hide-and-seek champion!
