Senior Dog Shuffling to Give His Mom a Goodnight Kiss Is Too Cute for Words

Coby might move a little slower these days, but he's still as devoted to his mama as ever. The senior pup doesn't really walk anywhere, it's more like a shuffle. Like when he goes to give his mama a goodnight kiss. Go Coby go!

In a clip the woman shared, her little old man took his time to get to her. And in the meantime, caused the entire internet to fall in love with him.

We have to imagine that every day living with Coby is amazing. The rescue is now 15 years old, but he is clearly the star of the household. In the video that his mom Natalie shared, it shows the senior dog tippy tapping his way over.

"Hey buddy!" the woman cooed as her dog made his way over. Coby is such a good boy. He let his mom give him a giant kiss on the face before turning in for the night.

"Coby comin' over for his goodnight kissies," his mom wrote in the caption.

Commenters were so in love with Coby. "The eyes. The ears. The tippy taps. My gosh I love him," wrote one person. "He looks like a well loved teddy bear in absolutely the best way," someone else teased. "Ma'am, if you ever need a dog sitter, I'm here. You don't even have to pay me. I'll pay you," another commenter offered. "My favorite senior baby boy! He’s magical somehow," another commenter added.

Another video on his page shows the dog cheesin' while his mom gives him some head scratches. Is this not the happiest dog on earth?

Heterochromia in Dogs

Something else that's really cool about Coby is that he has two different colored eyes — one blue eye, one brown. This is a condition known as Heterochromia. It happens in dogs, cats, horses, and people too.

Heterochromia isn't painful and won't hurt the pup longterm. All it means is that one eye, or part of the eye, lacks pigment. In dogs that can make the eye appear to be blue or bluish-white. The condition is usually hereditary, although it's possible to get Heterochromia from an injury or health condition. You should only be concerned if your dogs eye color changes rapidly. There's still a chance that it's hereditary, but you'll want to talk to your vet if you feel like something is off.

The two different eyes really suite Coby. It's just one of the many reasons why the dog is super special.
