Ah, springtime. It's been such a lovely time of year before summer's heat truly sets in. You and your pets can spend plenty of time napping in the sunshine, but there are plenty of people who find the springtime flowers and daylight extremely intolerable. But why could that be?

It's allergies, of course! Millions of people suffer from hay fever when the plants begin to blossom, but you may be surprised to know that some animals deal with seasonal allergies, too. On June 2, a TikToker by the name of @3o3lv3rn3r posted a short and sweet video of a young sheep in the middle of a sneezing fit, and it has millions of people talking. Who knew sheep sneezes could be so darn cute?

OMG--bless you! This little farm sheep took those sneezes like a champ. Luckily, she was able to catch her breath just a few moments later, but allergy sufferers from around the world could feel her pain. Her owner quickly posted an update video to reassure everyone that she was A-OK just a moment later. Whether this sneezing fit is just a fluke or an actual sign of allergies, it's nice to know that she gets a break from the annoying symptoms, too. After all, she's literally living around virtually all of the most common environmental allergens!

"That’s some baaaa’d allergies," joked commenter @defomyrealname." LOL! I see what you did there. Despite the pun, I think everyone would agree that sneezing fits are the worst. It can be scary when you can't seem to catch your breath or when you don't know what's causing the problem in the first place.

Although the sneezing sheep's owner hasn't elaborated on much, he did share that her name is Demba Ba. It turns out that this is also the name of a former professional soccer player, which makes the pun even cuter. It turns out that she's a special sheep for many reasons!

Can Animals Have Allergies?

Even though wild animals tend to be far more exposed to the outdoor allergens that make millions of humans sneeze, both wild and domestic animals can still suffer from allergies themselves! Allergies are a lot less common in animals than they are in people, but the biological process that results in allergic reactions remains the same.

According to BBC Science Focus, dogs, cats, and horses have been recorded with hayfever-type allergy symptoms, but it's possible that other species also experience this annoying seasonal problem. It sure seems like Demba Ba is one of those animals! However, for her sake, I hope that she just had a tickle in her nose. Allergies are so annoying!
