As is tradition, the medal table is ordered by the number of golds achieved by each team. At Tokyo 2020, China led the Paralympics field with 96 golds, with Great Britain second on 41 and the United States third with 37. If any countries tie on the medal table, bronze and silver medals are then taken into account.

ParalympicsGB matched their medal haul from the Tokyo Games, where its athletes won 124 medals – UK Sport had set a target of 100-140 medals – but took home more golds from France (49 vs 41).

Great Britain have not finished outside the top five in the medal table since the inaugural Paralympic Games in Rome in 1960 – and have been a top-three nation since Sydney 2000.

Here is the final medal table including all nations that won a single medal.
