Stampede of German Shepherd Puppies Chasing Their Trainer Is Too Cute to Resist

Uh oh, here comes trouble! One woman was pretty much living our dream in a video she shared recently. The dog trainer was being tailed by a pack of the cutest German Shepherd puppies. And while we know they're meant to learn how to guard and protect their loved ones, they're sort of too cute to be scared of, ya' know?

The pups are being raised and trained as protection dogs, but do they have to be so teeny tiny? It's hard to take them seriously when they're pretty much pocket sized.

We guess they won't always be this adorable. But in the meantime it was hard to keep perspective in a video shared by @protectiondogsales. The clip shows a woman running with German Shepherd puppies on her tail.

"Arf, arf, arf," they barked as they ran. Watch out, these pups are super tough.

"WHEN BABIES ATTACK!!! …..Is it shark week yet?" the caption joked.

People in the comments section were just as obsessed as we are. "This is absolutely adorable. Little German Shepherd pups," wrote one person. "The synchronized bark run lol, like a little army," someone else pointed out. "They are gonna sleep well. The in sync barking and running is adorable," chimed in a third commenter. "Running in all lower case due to the threat level lol," teased another person.

Training Your Dog for Personal Protection

While every dog is man's best friend, there are certain pups that can also be man's best protector. That's where some specialized training comes in.

Depending on your needs, you can train your dog for personal protection. But be forewarned, these types of dogs are suitable for everyone. In fact, attack dogs might not be able to make friends with anyone but his or her owner. There's a big difference between a guard dog and a family pet, make sure you really know what you're asking for before starting training.

You should start by teaching your dog some very basic commands like "bark" or "leave it." Your dog should listen to you 100 percent of the time you use commands with them.

Socialize your dog as much as possible. That way they won't fear new or strange situations. Dogs are most receptive to socialization in their first 16 weeks of life, but it's not always possible for every dog. Just make sure they're getting that exposure as regularly as they can.

Encourage your dog to bark at the approach of any stranger. Then teach your dog to defend you. This is where it's probably best to let a professional step in. There are many methods that you can use to teach your dog to attack, but you don't want anyone to get hurt.

Again, really think about what it means to have a guard dog. If you spend nights walking alone outside, it might be a good idea. But it isn't for everyone. Guard dogs can be a big liability and change your dog's personality for good. These are risks that not everyone should take.
